Aims & Objectives

To provide a happy, safe and caring environment for all our children

To provide the highest possible standards of care and education in a stimulating environment enabling children to develop into happy, healthy individuals and encouraging them to respect others

To work closely with parents in order to provide the best care for their child, always maintaining complete confidentiality

To provide a range of well-planned opportunities through a broad curriculum so that children can learn through play to achieve the ‘Early Learning Goals’. These goals form the basis of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) in the following areas of development:

Prime Areas of Learning

1. Personal, Social and Emotional Development

2. Physical Development

3. Communication and Language

Specific Areas of Learning

1. Literacy

2. Mathematics

3. Understanding the World

4. Expressive Arts and Design

To help children to become independent, self-motivated and confident and allow them to progress at their own rate of development through the EYFS and into Key Stage One where appropriate

To monitor every child’s progress and development by careful ongoing observation, assessment and completion of development records. We offer equal opportunities for all and aim to identify any child who may have special needs and to strive to provide for those needs
